Finding peace within the silence

Living in Lampang for almost 6 months, I thought it was the quietest place in Thailand until I went to Phayao which is found 3 hours away to the North from Lampang. We visited Phu Sang district, it was surrounded with mountains and and it was very quiet there were few people around and not much vehicles, it's the best get away from work and from the noise of the city.

1. The Sunken Temple

Just within the lake of Phayao, need to ride a boat to the center part of the lake. We went here with a burning heat, well worth a little tanned skin.

2. Wat Nataram

Located within Chiang Kham Municipality Market in Tambon Yuan. Such a beautiful temple, Burmese style, there's a small museum inside showing ancient items. 

3. Phu Sang Falls

It's a good place for picnic and swimming. There is also a trail above the falls where the "warm pond" is located. It's a very quiet place, good for relaxation.
