Chang Mai
This city is interesting and beautiful. There are so many places to go to. Here are some places which are just around the corner.
1. Wat Srisuphan (The Silver Temple)
This temple is just at the end of the night market road. We were fortunate to come during one of their Buddha holidays and we got to meet a monk, who gave us blessing for our journey.
2. The Gates of Chang Mai
During ancient times, the people built gates to protect the city from the enemies. And up until this time, the gates still stand. Though, some are already renovated due to its old age.
3. Night Bazaar and Night Market
I wasn't able to take pictures in these places because I was busy shopping and looking around. There are 3 Night Markets. The Night Bazaar which is open every night probable starts at 6 pm until midnight. The Saturday Night Market which is located near the Chang Mai Gate, opens during Saturday from 6 pm to 11 pm. The Sunday Night Market which is within the old city, opens from 5 pm to 10 pm.
For me it's better to shop in the weekend night markets because there are more variety of products in a cheaper price. The Night Bazaar is also nice but it's more limited when it comes to products because most of the stalls would be having the same items.

If you notice there is a big square in the map, that area is actually the old city area. The blue square is actually man made lakes used as a divider, and you can see the 4 gates
