Wat Phra That Lampang Luang

Sawadika! Wat Phra That Lampang Luang is one of the famous temples in Lampang. It is known to be more than a hundred-year old temple.

 

You can see one of the majestic pagodas in Thailand. During this time it was one of the big holidays of Buddhism and people flock in the temple to pray.

This is a tree supported by the sticks/wood. They believe that by supporting the tree they are supporting their lives because the tree was supported by Buddha. 

 

They have several praying temples within the area.

This is some kind of gong that they hit softly to produce a sound. 

(I have tried it, it needs effort to be able to produce the sound, not everyone succeeds.)
